Borrowing of resources is available to all members of the Mount Alvernia community to support their teaching, learning and recreational needs.
The iCentre offers a variety of resources and formats, including books, DVDs, magazines and multimedia devices such as iPads, and iPod touches. Students also have the opportunity to borrow eBooks and audiobooks should they so wish. We also have a number of non-fiction eBooks in our collection to assist student research which can be accessed via the OPAC.
Generally, items are available on a fourteen day cycle, except for equipment where the loan period may vary.
Borrowers are asked to consider others when borrowing and using resources, and take responsibility for returning them at the appropriate time so they are readily available for other members of our community. Failure to do so causes great inconvenience.
Before borrowing multimedia devices such as iPod touches, students are asked to complete the following permission form.
